At the request of the Parish Priest in Oulu a Rosary Prayer Group incorporating all the Legion prayers was set up in Tornio, a town with only about 40 Catholics; the only opportunity they have to pray together is at the Sunday Mass, which is monthly in that town and monthly in another town reasonably near. In both towns, Mass is celebrated in the Orthodox Church and Rosary groups meet before Mass.
The Catholic parishes in Finland cover vast areas, e.g. Tampere Parish is the same area as Belgium. Some Catholics live so far from a Church that they are in a Diaspora situation for attending Mass.
There is a Carmelite Foundation in Espoo where the prayers of the Sisters support the work of Peregrinatio Pro Christo. When possible, legionaries on PPC projects visit the Sisters, who are extremely interested in this work.
