Chennai Comitium Raised to Regia Status

CHENNAI COMITIUM RAISED TO REGIA STATUS
A proposal to raise the Comitium of Chennai to Regia Status was approved by Concilium. This council comprises 13 directly affiliated praesidia and 19 Curiae in the Archdiocese of Madras-Mylapore. To it would be added the Legion in the four suffragen Dioceses of Chinglepet, Coimbatore, Oootacamund and Vellore, as well as other territory for which permission is being sought.
